Synopsis:

Paul has an attitude. He’s the kid you cross the road to avoid. The no-hoper you pray your children never become. But there’s more to Paul than meets the eye or the ear. A side that he only finds when he’s truly lost. Little Shit is a child’s journey to discover his and London’s hidden nature.

Synopsis:

Connie Corcoran has dedicated his life to the mighty Blackwater River and, over the years, its currents have shaped him. He is one of Ireland’s great salmon fishing guides, but if the salmon stocks continue to decline, he may be one of its last. The River Man is a fated love story between a man and a river.

Synopsis:

Dr Perricone is a scientific rebel. In the superficial world of beauty he carries the banner of science. To understand the controversial and convention-defying nature of the brand Perricone MD, one has to tell the story of the passion and defiance of its founder and namesake, Dr. Nicholas Perricone.

Director, writer and creative director Richard Gorodecky learned his craft as a storyteller working in advertising. His commercial work has earned over sixty industry awards including a Gold Lion at Cannes, Grand-Prix at Eurobest and a Silver Effie. It has been featured in numerous books and publications and is part of the permanent collection of The Museum Of Art And Craft in Hamburg.

 

In 2015 Richard wrote and directed the short film - The River Man. It tells the fated love story between a man and a river. Finalist for the Grand Prix and Best Documentary at Academy Award qualifying Cork Film Festival, a finalist for Best Short Documentary at Big Sky Documentary Film Festival, and winner of Best Short Documentary at Lift-Off Film Festival in Amsterdam and Sydney. When the film premiered on RTE it received the unprecedented accolade (for a short film) of Critics Choice in The Sunday Times newspaper.

 

In 2016 Richard wrote and directed the drama - Little Shit. The film tells the story of a lost child’s journey to discover his and London’s hidden nature. Little Shit won Best British Film at The London Short Film Festival, Best Visuals at London Independent Film Festival and was in the official selection of over fifteen festivals including Aesthetica Film Festival, Brussels Short Film Festival and Norwich Film Festival.

 

Richard is currently developing a feature film with producers Nik Powell and Ian Prior and in pre-production for a short film about mental illness.

 

He freelances as a director/writer/creative director for agencies and consults for brands.
